"Glory" is a 12.1 1/2" hh (permanent measuring card) double Farnley Lustre mare. She has a wonderful disposition and has gained a home forever at Den-Mar. We purchased her in 2007 and she was used in leadline classes for her (then) 3 year old rider, Madeline. Pictured below are Glory and Madeline at the 2007 Maryland Pony Breeders Show. Bred to *Wedderlie Mardi Gras (by Eyarth Beau Geste), she had a colt in May 2009. We are repeating the cross for a 2011 foal. As soon as she is ready after her motherly duties, she will be a show pony again. Madeline and Liam will have to share!
Here Glory is getting a hug from Madeline. She gets lots of hugs from all of us here, as she is worthy of them!

"Lori" is a 13.1 hh beautiful medium mare, with a great disposition and good hunter movement. She is a proven broodmare, with wonderful old Virginia hunter bloodlines. We are very pleased to have her join our farm and look forward to many outstanding foals. Lori is a full sister to "Pony Dot Com", awarded the VPBA perpetual trophy for highest scoring Virginia bred pony at the 2002 Pony Finals. She is a true gem among broodmares.

"Gracie Lou" is a super fancy pony! She has been very successful already-- shown as a weanling, she was 1st under both judges and Reserve Jr. Champion Filly at the 2007 Maryland Pony Breeders Show. At Devon, in the Dressage division, she and her half-sister were 9th in the breeders group against a large class of all Warmbloods. Her dam is also a National Champion. Gracie has a winning attitude and likes to show. She has been first and Junior and Reserve Junior Champion Filly many times at the Welsh shows. She is now ready to go on to the perfomance division, where she will no doubt have a very good career for a young lady or gentleman.Cantering a course and starting to get her auto changes. Brave to the jumps.

Gracie Lou served as an ambassador for the Welsh Breed by showing at the Dressage at Devon show. It is one of the premier Dressage events of the year and farms from all over the country attend the show. Gracie, her sister and her sire, Nick, all had a remarkably good showing against the warmbloods. They were the talk of the show and also a hit with the judges, who made very positive comments on their score sheets. Look for her to return to the Dressage arena next year.

Luke is big, beautiful and has a great attitude and temperament. See the Foals and Youngstock page also. His first show was at the 2009 Maryland Pony Breeders show. He loaded on the trailer and showed like a champ. It was his first time off the farm and he was all show pony! He is quite the showman as well as athletic. Look for him in the show ring in 2010!
