"Glory" is a 12.1 1/2" hh (permanent measuring card) double Farnley Lustre mare. She has a wonderful disposition and has gained a home forever at Den-Mar. We purchased her last year and she was used in leadline classes for her 3 year old rider, Madeline. Pictured below are Glory and Madeline at the 2007 Maryland Pony Breeders Show. Bred to *Wedderlie Mardi Gras (by Eyarth Beau Geste) for a May 2009 foal. As soon as she is ready after her motherly duties, she will be Madeline's mount for leadline once again. Madeline can't wait!
"Gracie Lou" is an exciting addition to our farm! She has been very successful already-- shown as a weanling, she was 1st under both judges and Reserve Jr. Champion Filly at the 2007 Maryland Pony Breeders Show. At Devon, in the Dressage division, she and her half-sister were 9th in the breeders group against a large class of all Warmbloods. She will be shown this year in the MPB Futurity by Paul and Cheryl Maye. Her dam is also a National Champion. A very special thanks to Shawn Bigley of Westwood Farm in Maryland for selling us her very special pony!

Below are pictures of gracie at the 2008 MPB show, where she was Junior Champion & Reserve Champion B Filly; First under both judges in the Yearling Section B Fillies.
Gracie was shown by Paul and Cheryl Maye -- a wonderful turnout as always from Paul and Cheryl!
Gracie Lou served as an ambassador for the Welsh Breed by showing at the Dressage at Devon show. It is one of the premier Dressage events of the year and farms from all over the country attend the show. Gracie, her sister and her sire, Nick, all had a remarkably good showing against the warmbloods. They were the talk of the show and also a hit with the judges, who made very positive comments on their score sheets. Look for her to return to the Dressage arena next year.

Gracie's sire, Fox Cry Nicodemus, going where no 12.1 hh pony has gone before. He was called back in the top six stallions in his breeding class; it was quite the treat to see this -- not to be missed!
Nick and the warmbloods. This great shot shows the scale of things at Devon for the ponies! Nick is proving to be new competition for those big warmbloods!
